Both Austin and Lili are so talented and both could handle they role and the history is so we'll done, I love the way that this is a love story but the characters in the end don't get together.

The director Richard Tanne and crew brought a beautiful teen romantic adaptation. The story is about a teenager who falls in love with a mysterious transfer student. I liked the pace of the way the trauma unfolds because it captures how real and complicated it is to breakout out of it. The film centers on the struggle of holding on and letting go, how is not easy to move on because the heart doesn't want to surrender the past. It is not simple to look for help and this perspective shows how a new love could start to heal the wounds even if one is not looking to be repaired. There were a few missed opportunities like a dance scene that was cut short, and also the trauma could have been better served as a flashback, not as a story to give it more emotion. The ending was very satisfying because it delivers the message of what the movie was truly about.
The film had many great choices of songs, so many good artists and it sets a perfect atmosphere to be surrounded by a teen romance.
The two main actors Lili Reinhart and Austin Abrams performances were incredible and their chemistry was so awkwardly adorable. Lily Reinhart was phenomenal in showing her emotions, I loved how in every scene given her state has a hurtful look in her eyes. Austin Abrams gave such an innocent pure performance, and their combination was so lovely.
